Fuz Lip began in 2018 with twin brothers Miles and Max Kilstofte (bass/vox and guitar). The two were hungry for volume and grit after playing live acoustic sets for several years. In Jan 2019, they tapped soul man Max Stiers (drums) for beats, and the rock trio was complete. Stripped-down but staunch, Fuz Lip brews a tasty cauldron of blues, heavy riffs, distortion and whiskey-drenched lyrics. The three cut a 6 song E.P. in 2019, then self-released their full-length debut Bourbon & Milk in the midst of a chaotic 2020. The album was engineered, mixed and mastered at York Recording in Los Angeles.
